Jubilations!
In the midst of Union Jack bunting and last minute bank holiday shoppers, another productive festival meeting was held at the good ship Gallery North this morning. Things are coming together nicely for an action packed week of events this September, but with just a month to go until the deadline for all programme content, there is a surprisingly long list of fine details still to be sorted!
However, as the weeks and months pass all the hair-brained ideas that had once been merely the result of tea, biscuits and brainstorming around the committee table last September (yes we started planning a week after the last one finished!) are actually becoming a reality. And that is a fantastic feeling!
